Large chintz floral prints mix with delicate florals and sweet ditsy prints in this lovely collection dating to the time period from 1820 to 1850. Inspired by one of my antique quilts, the colors of RACHEL REMEMBERED are soft gold, a rich chocolate brown, indigo and federal blue, and a beautiful shade of deep red. Creamy background prints complete the palette. The fabrics in my antique quilt included a print commemorating General Andrew Jackson, and seeing that print mixed with the many beautiful floral and chintz prints reminded me of his wife, Rachel. She died after he was elected to be President of the United States but before his inauguration.

This fat quarter is approximately 18" x 22" in 100% top quality quilt cotton.
